In the daily work of hangtag printing, it is found that most of the brochures and hangtag printing drafts sent by customers have errors to varying degrees and need to be revised from the beginning, which delays the progress of printing. For this reason, REENYOUNG paper card manufacturer summarizes several printing planning precautions.
、spacing: Text (or images) on the layout must be spaced 3mm apart from the cutting margin to prevent cuts during cutting. After converting text to curves, be careful to avoid line skipping or overlapping between characters or lines. Text must be converted to curves or outlined. Avoid using system fonts, as this can cause white dots at the intersection of strokes. If white dots are present at the intersection of strokes, use the “scatter” command. Avoid overprinting black text.
、do not specify the color of your print based on the color your printer produces. When designing, refer to the percentage of the CMYK color spectrum to determine the color of your design. Also, keep in mind that the CMYK color spectrum produced by different manufacturers can vary slightly within the same color block due to factors such as the paper, ink type, and printing pressure.
、 When printing hangtags, color variations will occur between different prints. Color variations within 10% are considered normal (due to variations in ink volume control).
、When planning color blocks, avoid using dark or full-color combinations to prevent back-printing after printing. Due to the small print run, ink spots may occasionally appear where large, identical color blocks are present on both sides.
、The color of the hangtag’s background or base image should not exceed 10%, otherwise it will not appear on the final print.
